We have been serving naturists since 1982 and our aim is to help you to get more out of this great hobby or life style of ours. A C&C Guide book will reveal a whole new world of possibilities but some folk hold back ...... they worry that they don't know who we are nor do they know whether our books are worth the money. Our names and address are shown clearly on our home page (how many other naturist sites do that? and we’re in the ordinary phone book AND in yellow pages under "naturism") - you are welcome to contact us and check out that we’re real. As for buying a book - we offer a simple guarantee - if you don't like it return it to us straight away and we will refund your money. We won't be upset, we won't argue we won't even push you for an explanation. We reckon about ten thousand people have gained a lot more out of life by using a C&C guide - and we want to welcome you into that special group but if we cannot do anything to improve your naturist life we’ll gladly refund your hard earned brass.

What We Do

Coast & Country Naturists organise naturist social events in Britain and provide a unique source of help, advice, legal support, information, leaflets and books for naturists, wannabe naturists and the media.

Naturism has different meanings for different people - we try to present YOU with information and leave you to take away what you need - we are not here to tell you what to do! We’re not here to carp on about your life style choices and make you feel awkward just because your ideas do not match up with some "mythical definition." This makes us unpopular with some of the officials at the CCBN etc but we know we provide well for thousands of other naturists - and that makes it all worthwhile. (And we don’t even condemn CCBN out of hand!)

the C&C story

Formed in 1982 by Susan & David Martin the original purpose of Coast & Country Naturist CLUB was to organise naturist (social nudity) swimming and sauna evenings. (See ABOUT US for the full story - our legal mumbo jumbo page very quickly gets off that boring topic and explains how C&C got going.)

Our forward looking, friendly and innovative style resulted in our being asked to run many more activities over a much wider area. Coast & Country PUBLICATIONS (along with C&C CLUB) is now the foremost independent naturist organisation in Britain. We may not have the status of being the official body (that accolade is claimed by the CCBN) but we are in reality most helpful and active and we are dedicated to helping ALL naturists regardless of which clubs or organisations (if any) they belong to. We ensure British naturists get the help and facilities they need to enjoy their hobby. Let us help you!

People

Susan & David are the folk behind C&C - their constant vigilance and hard work for more than twenty years has been a factor in enabling British naturism to develop. Born in 1946 they have been married almost forty years and have two adult daughters. Our interests include the kidz followed by gardening with no clothes on, "home building skills", walking, motor-caravan touring, visiting historic houses, gardens, landscapes and watching TV documentaries etc. What makes us laugh? Tommy Cooper, Morecambe & Wise, The News Quiz and radio’s Dead Ringers and the human condition!

Exactly one person this year (2000) has complained ... "your smart alec comments are not funny, there is only one beach on ..... (so and so island) ...... that we would ever use and your suggestions that you can walk nude along the coast at .. such and such a place ..... are laughable." (In our own defence we'd point out that many naturists do indeed walk along the beach that the complainant objects to.)

Confidentiality

We have been serving naturists for over twenty years. Although we (Susan & David) have a high public profile we well understand that some naturists do need confidentiality and discretion. Take it from me that any concerns you may have regarding security or confidentiality are taken very seriously by ourselves.

C&C MEMBERSHIP

This section is for folk joining C&C for the very first time. Once you are a Member we will write to you as and when your Membership subscription is due for renewal. We do not use the same renewal date for all Members so every individual gets full benefit for a year and there is never a "bad time" or an "off season" to join C&C.

Coast & Country was formed in 1982 and welcomes all respectable naturists (and those new to naturism) without any discrimination whatsoever. If you subscribe to C&C Club today you will be entitled to Members Benefits for a period of over ONE YEAR. We usually give you the rest of the month free and then a full twelve months Membership starts after that. The cost is £15 per year and for the first year only there is a £5 joining fee. This subscription covers all the people in your home and there are no postal charges or VAT. Send your payment through the post - cheques should be made out to C&C CLUB - and we will mail you the latest newsletter and your Membership Card. We have been serving British naturists since 1982 so we'll not let you down nor take you for a ride.
