You'll not find an automatic Microsoft Outlook email form opening up here! Oh no! I hate that email stuff - it lands at any time of day and night and very often senders expect a reply within minutes. I think that's because some people are paid good money by their Employer and instead of using all their time to do their paid work they spend half their day emailing their friends, playing Doom on the net, peering at porn, laying bets on Australian Football or Dubai camel races  and generally having a fine old time of it. The other thing that annoys me is the lack of consideration by many emailers - they copy the whole of the previous email and then add something small and tiny at the end like "I agree", then the next guy to reply copies everything else and before long you get emails that are eighteen feet long but contain only six new words. No wonde the poor old internet groans under the weight of the duplicated sludge that has to be packaed around. Well, I don't sit chained to an email box all day - naturism is about freedom and I ain't going to make it over easy for you to bombard me with emails! (Although I cannot prevent you.) Ooooo David you are a crabby old b sometimes.

You can email me but I would actually prefer that you phoned - you know then that you have got my full attention.

You can also make contact by using the SEND FEEDBACK page and in theory you can only send me feedback if you first have a look at how to do it - which I will explain without further delay.

The FEEDBACK page sends your comments straight to me.  We appreciate the effort of those who take the time to make comments. All feedback comments are seen by me - those which indicate they are "not for publication" are carefully studied and then set on one side. (I may mention the subject matter elsewhere on the site or in a printed form but I would never quote you by name as the source.) The other feedback comments are also studied and then transferred to the READ FEEDBACK page so that all the world can find them. Even if you ask me to -  I will not publish material which gratuitously offends. I am perfectly willing to publish your heartfelt views provided they are relevant to our naturist interests and are expressed in moderate language. Sad to say but it is not hard to find all sorts of offensive rants on the net and I have no intention of devoting my time and money to spread any more of it around. (Hey loosen up guys - I ain't just a grumpy old man - I grew up in the days of flower power and peace to all!)

I will never transfer any of your personal details (name email etc) into the FEEDBACK BOX so make sure you start with a date and sign off with a name (it is very boorish not to do that). If you're inviting other visitors to contact you direct then make sure you include your email in the FEEDBACK box. Remember though that this info can be seen by anybody anywhere in the world - think before you make your personal data available.

I will (usually) put my foot down and delete any physical address or phone number which you type in the FEEDBACK box. I am not here to nanny you but there are not many circumstances when it is wise for an ordinary naturist to publish a phone number or an exact physical address - you can of course mention the town where you live or work or the regular naturist places you get to. On the other hand I would be wary of sending money to any "trader" - naturist or not - who does not tell you an exact "physical" details. Also there is a lot of poor quality naturist info on the net (our links give you some of the better places to check out) and it is sometmes a huge waste of time and money to follow the advice of anonymous info suppliers.

Even though I read all the FEEDBACK carefully,  I will not reply to you directly - if you want to have a talk with me then please do phone me. If you're a C&C Member I will be glad to phone you back at our expense. If you are a genuine naturist with some desparate need for help and advice then we'll try to help straight away. We can just about stretch to phoning you on a landline but please don't ask us to phone your mobile - costs are just too high for that.

The bottom of the  FEEDBACK page gives you the chance to SUBSCRIBE onto our email list. We are not planning to run a forum or chat room on this website or operate a complicated mail list server. A chat room can degenerate into a disagreable experience and it really needs specialist skills and experience and time to run a proper chat room or forum - and I could make a great deal of money if I ran an "improper forum"! Fortunately some naturists who are internet savvy are also committed to providing a good chat room or forum or news group (see our links page) and there is no point in C&C duplicating the good work of others.

You can use the FEEDBACK page to be added into our email address book. We assume that if you have told us (in confidence) your name and home town and email address that you would probably like to get some email from us. You can  expect to get emails from C&C from time to time. We won't be sending them out every month, just now and again as it seems useful. We are in regular touch by post with our paid up Members and I am alway in touch with my book buying readers. So the emails won't tell you anything that I wouldn't tell others, but the info might be interesting, or useful and of course it is fast and free.

BUT if you don't want to receive email from us just change the tick from yes to NO.

You may be concerned about email security. I assure you that I take precautons! Emails from me will always say they come from me - david martin - and the subject line will always be something innocent like "Coast & Country news". We would never use words in a subject line or in the body of the email which are likely to be blocked by protective software - we are naturists and not part of the sex industry.

Of course it is fairly easy for anybody to send you an email with my name on it. But we always play safe with email. We would never ask you to open an attachment to an email - personally I never open any attatchment sent to me - none - zilch - zero. Neither would I ever ask you to click on a link within an email - if I quote a link to somewhere else on the net I quote it in plain text and leave it to you to copy and paste it into your browser URL line. (The scam merchants like to get you to click on a blue email link and get transported automatically to their own web pages - sometimes then "trapping" you there.)   I always include a "signature text file" at the end of my emails quoting my name, phone number and address. (I recommend all naturists use a signature file on the emails they send out although it may be sensible for private individuals only to mention your name and town of residence.) So if you're one of those bright young things that enjoy reading email - or even a silver surfer - you are very welcome to get more of the stuff from me - now and again - but don't expect state of the art stuff - just plain nuddy news. 

We use personal data fairly and legally. The data protection laws don't actually offer ordinary people (like you and me) a great deal of protection. You can be assured that we only store and use data in ways which comply with English law. Furthermore - regardless of any legal requirements - we only work in ways which are in themselves fair and in keeping with the spirit of data protection. We never sell your email address. We do not buy email addresses. We only email folk regularly who have made a specific request. We keep your data secure and take care to avoid information leaking or being stolen from us. We have refused to accept data from others who (we believe) have stolen it from other naturist organisations. We understand that most naturists are quite cautious about confidentiality and we strive hard to meet the highest standards.
