We have been helping British naturists since 1982 so it is possible that you reached this site using a www address such as NATURISTSHOP or even NATURIST.ORG   It really does not matter - here is our new website (re-launched Autumn 2004) which sets out to give the help and advice you need in one site. Our aim is to help newcomers find their way into naturism and help old hands get even more enjoyment out of it.

The site has been deliberately kept simple - very few photographs and no fancy gimmicks - so hopefully this info gets up onto your screen quickly and can be printed off easily.   Although we only have two staff here, we cover an enormous range of naturist work. We do have a large number of paid up Members who live in all parts of Britain (and a few abroad) and those people get our number one attention. But we also know - from over twenty years of sometimes bitter experience   -   that it is not always easy for a "wannabee naturist" to find their way into what some still grandly call "the movement". If YOU are in that position you can relax - you have found us!

Naturists are individual people - we share many similarities but we're not all the same and not all naturists are seeking the same sort of pleasures. We try to help everybody without being snooty about single status or body jewelry or those who enjoy overseas holidays but don't join in naturist activities at home. Sometimes the best thing you can do to discover this wonderful world of naturism is to buy one of my books, see BOOKS. Sometimes you would be best to join a club or an organisation, altho we   never   think it wise to join a club without meeting the members first. Sometimes you can get help from other web sites - although the internet is limited in accuracy and content as far as naturism goes.

We will try to help but please be open and honest and straight forward  with us - we hate "number withheld phone calls" or emails that don't have a signature name and address. Also do give us time to help you - naturism is not about "the fast lane".

No answer to the phone? We have to eat - go out to the post office etc - but we do have a BT 1571 extra answering machine so please leave a brief message just to touch base. Be assured that if we phone you back we are discreet!
We return calls to our Members and those buying books - or anybody who is in a fix - at week-ends and in the 7.00-8.00 pm slot every evening. We do not make calls back to mobile phone numbers at all. Our phone does not accept incoming calls if you "withhold" your number - you can dial 1470 first to get round that problem.
Personal callers at our place are welcome provided we have at least thirty minutes notice of their arrival - giving us time to stop what we are doing and spend time with you. You may be able to stay for a cup of tea and a chat, maybe even sunbathe in the garden, but you need to give us enough notice! It's fun being a "professional nudist" but we work incredibly hard and long hours.

Nearly all services are free for our Members, and indeed we try to help all naturists within reason. (Most of the 8 legal battles we have fought for individuals - and won them all by the way - were people who were not originally Members of C&C.) 

If you need to send money to C&C or wish to send a donation, we are happy for you to post an envelope containing cheques, postal orders or creditcard details but think twice before mailing cash to us (unless you send the letter "recorded") as missing money causes mistrust for all parties. You can use email to quote your creditcard details (not really as risky as some pundits would have you believe) or you can also use creditcards if you phone us - which is always nicer as we get to chat.
